In this course the students will learn how to configure and initialise the Firewall Services Module (FWSM). Other topics include IP Routing, Cisco Modular Policy Framework, Cisco Adaptive Security Device Manager, Authentication, Authorisation & Accounting and the Cisco Security Manager (CSM).

Who should attend
Network technicians and Administrators who are responsible for installing and maintaining the Firewall Services Module on a Cisco Catalyst 6500 or Catalyst 7600.

  • Experience of configuring Cisco IOS Software
